LETSHEGO Financial Services’ “LetsGo & WIN” campaign touched on Mohale’s Hoek this past Friday where lucky winners walked away with cash and prizes valued at M35 000.
The campaign, which commenced on 1 October and is set to end on 31 December 2025, was designed to give back to Basotho for their support towards the Gaborone headquartered financial services powerhouse.
With a M400 000 budget to be spent through monthly and weekly draws, countrywide events have since been conducted through money-giveaway activities that included trolley dashes, wheel of fortune spinning, among other games.
Last week in Mohale’s Hoek six lucky winners walked away with prizes comprising two M1000 electricity vouchers, two trolley dashes valued at M5000 each, as well as M18 000 and M5000 cash prizes.
One more prize giving event is awaiting lucky winners in 2025 with a whopping M100 000 earmarked for cash prizes next week.
Among the winners was Peiso Seutloali, who walked away with groceries worth M5000 after participating in a trolley dash activity. He touched many hearts when he shared a compelling story of how well the food will be received by orphans under his care.
Mr Seutloali, who is from Ketane in Mohale’s Hoek, shared how overwhelmed he was with the prize and how it would assist his family of five.
“These prizes are dedicated to my children; two of whom are biological and three are siblings to my wife. Since my wife’s parents passed away some years ago, we became responsible for the children left behind who are all under 12 years old. I can imagine their beaming faces when they see the goodies, and I am glad they will be happier this Christmas,” he said.
Overall winner , Ntheti Kotelo, said she was stunned after witnessing the “wheel of fortune” cursor land on the M18 000 cash prize she walked away with.
She said she would use the windfall to renovate her parental home as a token of appreciation for her upbringing.
In his remarks Letshego’ Marketing Manager, Tsotetsi Seema, said the campaign emanated from Letshego’s idea to give back to Basotho for being loyal and supportive partners of her company.
“The “LetsGo & WIN” campaign is now in its third year. This year, it commenced on 1st October and is set to end on 31st December 2025. It was designed to give back to Basotho for their support towards our institution. We took note of the humility that most Basotho possess, especially our people from the poverty stricken areas who, despite their challenges, continue their support towards us relentlessly,” he said.
Mr Seema said the next event will include school fees and school stationery hampers to assist parents ahead of the 2026 schooling season.
