ENTERTAINMENT outfit Afro Sounds is set to host the debut Denim and Sneakers Caribbean Edition at Cuban Linx on 22 December to set the tone for Christmas.
The show will host performances by Gama, Veenushka, Kats and Smooth, Lobby, Vesta, Konsept, Babli, Thizozo, Ebonics, MSL, Kopper, Frequency Osmic Loco and Ten/10, Toxique, Baff Jnr as well as Mavele, Kat Afro and Mosh the party Mc’s.
Event organiser, Afro DJ, said he hoped to promote lifestyle events around the country to provide entertainment. Afro DJ told the Weekender this week that ladies who arrive at the event before 6pm will get free entrance into the club.
He said unlike many other Denim and Sneaker editions he has held before, this one will have a Caribbean vibe which goes along with the summer season.
“I will also be offering free Caribbean leis to the first 100 people who will get to the party,” he said.
He added that revelers are also free to wear floral clothes along with their denim and sneakers.
Afro DJ said the Denim and Sneaker concept was also to motivate patrons to dress up every time they attend events so as to bring class and style to parties.
