Lesotho Sun to Host Business Talk and Dinner

Maseru –  “Bridging the skills and expertise gap between born entrepreneurs and qualified professionals.” This and other issues are on the agenda for a business talk and dinner function set to be held on Thursday, 17th October 2013.

The forum, which is aimed at addressing challenges faced by Basotho business men and women in building sustainable enterprises, will focus on sharing knowledge and expertise on running successful and sustainable business ventures.

Attendees will get first hand demonstration on how the right combination of business principles, knowledge of theories and street smarts can lead to a solid business that can grow into an empire that can in turn boost the country’s economy.

The event will also highlight the need to have diversified mindsets and to share knowledge to make sure that businesses in Lesotho succeed.

The intended audience at the event includes corporates, small and medium scale businesses.

Expected to speak at the event are, chairman and founder of Matekane Group of Companies (MGC) Sam Matekane and Moratuoa Hlongwa, partner at New Dawn chartered Accountants.

Hlongwa, a qualified and practising accountant will discuss the principles of business from a financial advisory perspective while business tycoon Matekane will examine the practical aspects of running a business.
