BUTHA BUTHE — People’s Choice FM (PCFM) launched its new frequency 92.8MHz in Butha Buthe on Sunday.
PCFM aims to become the leading radio station in the country by ensuring that they reach all parts of Lesotho and beyond.
Since their initial frequency 95.6MHz only covered urban areas, the new one will cover the highlands and some parts of South Africa, the programmes manager, Liteboho “Counter Force” Nkuebe, said in an interview with the Weekender.
“Basotho have shown us love and support throughout the 15 years we have been broadcasting.
“We are broadening our coverage so that more people can access information and entertainment.
“The station offers more entertainment at a greater quality as compared to rival companies.
“We are in business like every company whilst offering the best of entertainment, hence our slogan ‘Mixing business with pleasure’. We want to give our listeners the best of both worlds.
“We have proved to be hard working as we were the first station to host a beauty pageant and we are hoping to continue entertaining people.”
“PCFM will continue to be trend setters, offering a different programming altogether as others try to up their game,” Nkuebe said.
The launch will also take place in other districts like Leribe and Teyateyaneng to give listeners a chance to see their presenters and interact with them.
The star-studded list of PCFM’s presenters like Tlhoks, Palycetra and DJ Boots fascinated the fans at the launch providing the best of entertainment.
