RENOWNED disc spinner, DJ Mekonko, who hosts the show Mekonko Sundays at 4Fordy every Sunday, will add a bit of flavour to this week’s session by hosting South African House muso T-Deep.
Since August this year, deep and soulful House music lovers have been treated to DJ Mekonko and company’s weekly Sunday sessions at the Khubetsoana-based entertainment hotspot.
The sessions have generated interest from those keen on wrapping up the weekend on a laid back note.
Dubbed “Clash of the Heavyweights”, this Sunday’s sow is meant to showcase some of the deejays South Africa has to offer pitted against the local contigent.
South Africa’s T-Deep, Mr Spike, Razor Minora and All Star will line up against Lesotho’s Thoxie, Sir Schaba, Harris T, Tshepzadj and Kopper.
DJ T- Deep is regarded as one of the cutting edge deejays with a loyal following.
He hosts House music shows on South African radio station Metro FM alongside veterans Christos and Vinni Da Vinci.
He has performed in Lesotho a number of times and has steadily built a following in the Mountain Kingdom.
