MASERU — It was a night to remember when DJ Tseko’s Kuna Sounds, in partnership with Maluti Mountain Brewery, hosted a memorable Castle Lite Nite at Victoria hotel’s Poolside last Friday.
Dubbed Castle Lite Nite, the event aimed at promoting the consumption of Castle Lite beer so as to cool down the heat during this hot festive season, Tseko Mamonyane told the Weekender at the show.
“Kuna sounds is well known for giving Basotho the best of entertainment, so we are trying to welcome spring in style through this event whilst MMB wanted to promote Castle Lite.
“We have a strong working relationship with MMB as we have partnered on a number of occasions like the Redds funwalk.”
He added: “The campaign is all about finding those extra cold moments of awesomeness, so we just wanted to make sure that people have a chance to experience moments like this.
“Castle Lite is the only beer served at -4 degrees Celsius, which is the biggest achievement to date. It changes the mindset of beer drinkers as it delivers a full-flavoured, smooth and refreshing taste which invigorates and cools down during the hot seasons,” he said.
The innovative blue liners inside all Castle Lite cans seal in the fresh taste and keep it extra cold. Recently introduced is the Castle Lite Draught which is the only draught served at sub-zero temperature.
The chilly breeze that swept across the streets of Maseru did not deter the party animals who came in large numbers.
One of the party fanatics who attended the event, Masitise Masitise, said he had the best time ever.
“I perceive Castle Lite as the best beer ever produced as it has a smooth refreshing taste and I simply can’t get enough of the music coming through the speakers. This is the best party I ever attended,” he said.
The all-star list of performers included local deejays Tseko, Boots, Tsepzadj alongside SA big names Phobia, Glen and Finzo.
“There will be a vast number of events by Kuna Sounds this festive season and I promise the fans that there will be free entrance at next one,” mentioned Mamonyane.
