MASERU — Award-winning South African gospel artiste Pali Sechaba is set to perform at Manthabiseng Convention Centre on Sunday.

The Free State star will be performing during the Gospel Sensation gala. This will be his first show in the country.

Organisers of the show, ‘Mapitso Maboloka and ‘Mabatho Mafitoe, told the Weekender that the event is meant to get all Christians together through music.

“We wanted to bring an event for all Christians in the country during Easter,” Mafitoe said.

Maboloka added: “There is never an event dedicated to praising God through music so this show serves to say God’s praises through a music concert for all Christians.”

Maboloka said they decided to bring Sechaba because he has a huge fan base in the country and is currently making waves in the gospel industry in the region.

“Sechaba has proven to be great with his talent. He has won several awards and is currently doing well in the gospel music industry,” she said.

She added Sechaba is the perfect artiste to entertain Christians during Easter because he led a sinful life before he repented.

“Sechaba is a born-again Christian and people can relate to him as he has a past life that he repented from and gave himself to God,” she said.

The event is set to start at 1pm.

The South African star will perform alongside locals Molupe le Salem and Tsepo Khenchane.
