MASERU — The Vodacom *111# concert will take Lesotho by storm at the Maseru Club grounds tomorrow.
Vodacom Lesotho has since 2007 graced its customers with massive bashes annually during this time of the year.
This time the line-up is bigger and more diverse than in the previous years.
According to Sekonyela Makamane of Vodacom’s marketing department, party fanatics are going to have a time of their lives.
“We always try to increase the number of performers every year.
“Vodacom has billed the big names in the music industry from South Africa who will be sharing the stage with our Vodacom Superstars that were crowned this year.
“We would also like to inform the public that the acts that have been announced to rock the stage will all be there, just ignore the rumours that some of them are not coming anymore.
“We have contracts with the artistes we have booked and to date none of them has notified us of any regrets which means all the acts are still to perform for Basotho that day,” he said.
The acts include musos like DJ Christos, Ganyani, Oskido, Vetkuk Vs Mahoota, Uhuru, Professor, Bignuz, HHP, Cassper Nyovest, Teargas, Thebe, Donald, Busisiwa, Nokwazi, Candy against local acts Mekonko, TshepzaDJ, Fatere, Mants’a and the recently crowned superstars.
DJ Ganyani, who is the ratchet maker of the smash hit Xighubu confirmed directly with this newspaper that he will be here.
“I will definitely be performing in Maseru that day (tomorrow) and I am looking forward to it.
“Lesotho is a great place and the people always give me a warm reception . . . I love Lesotho and I am coming”.
