Premier League outfit FC Likhopo have vowed not to release striker Lehlomela Ramabele to African Warriors, unless the South African First Division side pays the required transfer-fee.
According to team manager Qamako Mahao, the gifted national football team (Likuena) hitman would only join the Free State-based side for the right price and under the right conditions.
Mahao confirmed the forward has been in the Free State training with the Warriors, adding however, that no deal had been reached regarding his transfer.

Ramabele, who began his career at division one side Mabeoane Football Club, joined FC Likhopo in 2012 after one season with Premier League outfit Botswana Defence Force.
“I was shocked last week to learn that our player (Ramabele) had signed with Warriors because he is still contracted to us, so he cannot sign another contract without our blessing as FC Likhopo.
“We have since met with Warriors officials, who came here this past weekend, but we told them to make an improved offer, if they were
serious about signing the player.

“We are willing to release the striker for as long as Warriors are prepared to put a decent offer on the table for him. We have also made the Warriors officials aware that to get an international clearance for the player, they have to go through us, and this can only happen if we are happy with their offer,” said Mahao, who could not be drawn to say how the club is asking for the player.

Mahao further said Warriors were now expected to come with an improved offer “in the next few days”, failure of which the player would not be allowed to continue training with the team.
Meanwhile, national team winger, Katleho Moleko, has signed a two-year deal with Pretoria-based first division side, United FC.

The talented winger confirmed his move to the South African outfit, adding: “I’m very excited about this move. It’s another opportunity for me to showcase my talents.”
Before moving to United, Moleko was with another South African first division side, Cape Town Santos.
At United, the forward reunites with his former Likuena trainer, Leslie Notši, who is now the team’s head-coach.

The dribbling wizard is expected to be part of the United squad, which arrives in Maseru tomorrow for Sunday’s friendly match against Premier League champions, Bantu, at Setsoto stadium.
United FC have also shown interest in four other Likuena players — Tšoanelo Koetle, Bushy Moletsane, Tšepo Lekhooana and Nkau Lerotholi — who have already been to Pretoria for assessment.
The Lesotho Times understands the players could complete their transfer to the South African side next week.
