Matsebetsebe launches share a million campaign

IN June 2016, Econet launched an exciting promotion called Matsebetsebe Cash Explosion which had a positive impact on the lives of many of its customers where prizes in the form of cash and other freebies including airtime and data were won during the past year.

This year, Matsebetsebe comes with bigger and better cash prizes where the final winner will walk away with a whooping M200 000 at the end of the campaign.

Matsebetsebe share a Million is a promotion where more customers stand easy chances of becoming daily and monthly cash and Kwese TV kits winners through recharges and SMSes.

There are two ways to qualify for the draws. Customers need to send the word ‘Econet’ to 65100 and play trivia question and answer game. For every correct answer, a customer collects 10 points and 5 point for a wrong answer. The points are the customer’s entry into the draw and the more one plays, the more their chances of winning. Each SMS costs M1.00.

Secondly, customers can qualify for the draw by recharging airtime onto their phones. Every M10 recharge gives 1 point and the more one recharges the more the chances of winning (except for airtime transfer).

Econet’s Chief Commercial Officer, Maurice Newa said that Econet is continuing to create platforms to enrich and empower its customers and this is evident in the way the company is continuing to give out cash prizes to its customers. “In addition to cash prizes, we have also included our newly launched Kwese TV kits to give our customers first-hand experience of Kwese TV,” said Mr Newa.

The promotion is open to all Econet’s prepaid customers. There will be daily draws which will be held live on five selected radio stations, namely; Radio Lesotho, Harvest FM, Moafrika FM, People’s Choice FM and Ultimate FM from Monday to Friday.

Through the Matsebetsebe share a Million promotion, Econet is giving back to the communities and showing appreciation for the unwavering loyalty and support to all the customers. In addition to the innovative products and services which the network offers customers, the Matsebetsebe share to a Million promotion presents more customers with opportunities to improve their lives and achieve their dreams.
