MASERU — Linare will hope it’s a case of home sweet home when they welcome Lerotholi to Hlotse on Saturday in the Vodacom Premier League.
Linare have toured the districts over recent weeks and will be happy to be in familiar surroundings after a winless run away from home.
Linare lost 2-0 to LCS in Maseru, 1-0 to Bantu in Mafeteng and were held to a 1-1 draw in Butha-Buthe by Maduma last Saturday.
The run of form has seen Linare, who are looking for their first championship since 1980, drop from the top of the table to fourth place in the table.
Tse Tala now have 23 points and are four points behind leaders LCS.
Lerotholi meanwhile are coming off a morale boosting 2-1 win over Joy in the last game and will be looking to continue their fight against relegation in Hlotse.
Lihale are ninth in the league with 16 points just a point above the relegation zone.
In Saturday’s other match Matsieng will witness a relegation six-pointer when bottom side Mabeoana, who have a measly six points, host second from bottom Mphatlalatsane who are faring little better with nine points.
On Sunday, leaders LCS will host Maduma.
Masheshena, consecutive champions in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons, made a statement of intent with a 5-1 mauling of Mabeoana last Saturday.
Another set of three points for LCS would put pressure on their title rivals LDF and Bantu who meet in a top of the table clash at Ratjomose, also on Sunday.
Sohle-Sohle and A Matšo Matebele met in Mafeteng three weeks ago and played to a hard fought goalless draw.
Eleventh-placed Joy host Lioli conquerors Swallows, who are 12th, in Hlotse on Sunday.
