MASERU — There will be music, drinks and a new label.
It will be a special treat indeed for those who will attend the official launch of the Real Corp Wear label at Setsoto Restaurant in Maseru on Saturday.
Real Corp Wear is a new venture for Big Potato Entertainment, a local company.
The Real Corp Wear clothing range includes caps, T-shirts, golf-shirts and sportswear.
Big Potato director Selatela “DJ Slats” Ramakatane told the Weekender this week that the clothing label was going to be a huge success.
“Big Potato is here to stay,” DJ Slats said.
“The launch of the Real Corp Wear is going be one of the successful events as we are ready to compete with brands like Nike and Adiddas, just to mention a few.”
DJ Slats said Big Potato decided to venture into clothing after realising how people, especially in the entertainment circles, wanted to be identified with trendy labels.
“We realised that the people want to identify with a certain brand to help them remember the shows they attend,” he said.
“So we decided to venture into the clothing label to make sure that people wear our brand.”
DJ Slats said they were confident there was a reliable market in the country.
“There is a huge market in Lesotho,” he said.
“Since we opened a shop in Lesotho, we have realised that Basotho like our brands.”
