MASERU — DJ Counterforce has gone off the air after a decade of entertaining People’s Choice FM listeners.
The presenter, whose real name is Liteboho Nkuebe, left the popular programmes Let’s Talk and Operation Teme-temeka at the start of this month.
DJ Counterforce however remains with the radio station as a technical manager.
Over the past year DJ Counterforce’s health has been a subject of speculation.
But he said he quit his popular programmes to concentrate on his personal business venture in Mafeteng.
“I’m no longer on air beginning the first week of June but I’m still working for PC FM as technical manager,” he told the Lesotho Times this week.
“I’ve got a business to run in Mafeteng and I have to concentrate on making sure that it’s settled,” he said.
DJ Counterforce however said he will miss presenting Let’s Talk, a phone-in programme that tackled wide-ranging social issues.
“Maybe when my business is settled I will approach PC FM management and get back on air,” he said.
