MASERU — The People’s Choice FM station manager, Kholu Qhobela, has described the slain radio presenter Thabang Moliko as a hard worker who would be hard to replace.

Qhobela was speaking at Moliko’s burial at Ha-Abia on Sunday.

Moliko was killed in cold blood by two men at the Bus Stop area in Maseru on his way home on March 29.

Qhobela said the late presenter used to leave the comfort of his bed to do the Selemela programme on PC FM that started at 3am.

“Sometimes if transport was not available to pick him from his home he would risk his life and walk to work,” Qhobela said.

She added that when other presenters were not available to do their duties Moliko would readily take up their slot.

Chief Majara Theko who spoke on behalf of the principal chief of Thaba-Bosiu, Khoabane Theko, said Basotho should remember they are one nation and stop killing one another. “I appeal to you to stop these killings,” Chief Majara said.

Moliko was born in Matlapaneng in Mafeteng district in 1968.

He leaves behind a wife and three children.
