Leslie Notsi has quit his position as the Lesotho coach for First Division side United FC, replacing Dan Masilela.

Notsi handed in his resignation to the Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) late last week as he headed to Pretoria to meet with his new team.

Last July he led the Crocodiles to a fourth place in the regional COSAFA cup played in Zambia, where Lesotho ended the tournament as the top-scoring team.

The 49-year-old took over the Lesotho job in 2011 after guiding the Under-20s to the CAF African Youth Championship in South Africa.

He also coached current Lesotho champions Lioli and Matlama, who are the most successful club in the Kingdom country.

United FC also has Lesotho international Litŝepe Marabe in their books.

The talented winger joined United after an impressive showing in the World Cup qualifiers, where he scored a scorcher for Lesotho in the 1-1 draw against Zambia played in Maseru.
