AFTER releasing two hot singles earlier this year, Unkle Krack, has once again treated his fans to another single released this week titled Actions Loud.
It’s no doubt that the last two singles All the time and PSA freestyle took his fans by storm judging from all the attention they garnered on social media and it seems new one is going exactly the same direction.
The rapper to the Weekender this week that he will also soon release a music video for the track.
He said the singles are off an upcoming album on which he is working with another singer, Tubby.
“I have a project in the pipeline meant for release later this year although I can’t share the title and specific dates,” Unkle Krack said.
He said the track is about his personal experiences because he wants listeners to relate with his music.
Unkle Krack said the track was inspired by his experiences with people who offer assistance but seldom deliver.
“They say actions speak louder than words and since my music journey began, I have come across multiple empty promises where I have been assured different forms of support which never came,” he said.
He said some of his experiences were also common to other people which makes it easier for his listeners to relate to his music.
Born Neo Malea, Unkle Krack started his musical career in 2009 but only released his first mixtape in 2017, a 15-track project titled Changes, which details how he ended up in the music industry.
Asked about his thoughts on the local music industry, Unkle Krack said there were many factors which hindered the progress of the industry including the absence of royalties.
“Being a musician should translate to airplay but we do not have that in Lesotho yet and the only time we make money is during the December festivals via bookings,” he said.
He also urged his fellow artistes to produce quality music which can be played by DJs without worrying about its quality.
