MASERU — Finance Minister Timothy Thahane is today expected to officially launch the Lesotho Revenue Authority — Business Partnership Forum that seeks to boost cooperation between the authority and the business sector.
LRA commissioner general Thabo Letjama together with a representative from the private sector will also address business representatives expected to turn up for the launch at Maseru Club.
“The LRA-Business Partnership Forum seeks to amongst others to establish a platform for dialogue and collaboration between the LRA, private sector and public sector,” according to a press statement released by the revenue authority this week.
The forum will seek to establish a platform for dialogue and collaboration between the LRA, private and public sectors.
It will also implement more formalised and mutually agreed consultation mechanisms between the revenue
authority and the private and public sectors.
It will also seek to increase private sector input in policy formulation and identification of needs through effective participation in policy making.
