The winners of the finals will represent Thaba-Tseka at the B Division inter-district competition in Maseru next month.
Five teams — LHDA, Rangers, Swallows, Thaba-Tseka United and a yet-to-be-confirmed team — will be in action in Thaba-Tseka this weekend.
“Five zones in Thaba-Tseka will be playing against each other on Saturday and Sunday,” DIFA executive officer Nthati Ramonyane told the Lesotho Times this week.
“The winners will represent the district at the B Division district knock-out competition in Maseru on July 4.”
Ramonyane said he expected the weekend action to be the toughest in the history of Thaba-Tseka B Division finals.
“The competition among these teams will very tough,” he said.
“It is a new thing to see this kind of competition since the establishment of Thaba-Tseka DIFA.”
He said his association was certain that Thaba-Tseka will be among the two winners of the B Division inter-district competition next month.
The top two teams at the inter-district tournament will be promoted to the A Division for the 2009/10 season.
