GERMAN disc spinner Ralf Gum and DJs from his GOGO Music stable on Saturday serenaded a packed Ba.One restaurant with deep house sounds until the wee hours of the next day.

The South African-based Ralf Gum, along with Sir LSG and Themba, performed in Maseru as part of their album launch tour titled GO!!! 15 Years of Enchanting House Music.

The two-disc compilation consists of hits released by GOGO Music over the 15 years of its existence such as Complicated, Fly Free, Spiritualized, All I Am and Do It For Love among others. The 12-track disc one was compiled by Ralf Gum while the 11-track second disc was mixed by Sir LSG.

The curtain raisers, Tapi Delux, DJ Tseko and Black Bee, ensured the show, dubbed “Lifestyle Xperience Dress Up”, lived up to its billing.

When the main acts finally came to the stage, revellers could not get enough of the soulful tunes the trio belted out until the next day.

In an interview on the side-lines of the show, Themba said the trio were given the best reception in Lesotho compared to all the other countries they had performed.

“We performed in a number of countries before this tour and we received the best reception here. That’s because revellers here really know how to have fun,” he said.

“Lesotho is the first international stop of the tour. From here, we will visit Botswana, Namibia and Swaziland among others. If it was not for the busy schedule, I would be visiting Lesotho on a regular basis.”
