PRIME Minister Pakalitha Mosisili will be conferred with an honorary doctorate on Saturday by India’s Lovely Professional University (LUP).
Dr Mosisili is in New Delhi for the third India-Africa Forum Summit which began on Monday and ends today. According to the summit’s official website, the four-day summit was meant to enable “consultation between heads of 54 nations across Africa and the Indian government to give a new thrust to our age-old partnership”.
In a series of tweets, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the summit as one of the biggest gatherings of African leaders outside their continent and a reflection of the desire on both sides to engage more intensively.
