MASERU — At least 2 700 students are expected to graduate from the National University of Lesotho (NUL) on Saturday.

The graduation ceremony will also see Professor Sharon Siverts, who was appointed in February, being officially inaugurated as NUL vice-chancellor.

Siverts is the eighth vice-chancellor of the university.

The ceremony will be led by His Majesty KingLetsie III in his capacity as Chancellor of Lesotho’s first and oldest university.

NUL’s director of communications and marketing, Phomolo Lebotsa, said all was set for a successful graduation ceremony this weekend.

“A lot of effort has been put towards organising the ceremony. We are also grateful to the various organisations that have contributed to the event by way of sponsorship,” Lebotsa said.
