NSS boss Ralenkoane breathes fire

NATIONAL Security Service (NSS) Director-General Pheello Ralenkoane, is breathing fire after his predecessor, Colonel Tumo Lekhooa and former Commissioner of Police Molahlehi Letsoepa, both of whom are in self-imposed exile in South Africa, railed against him in an interview with a local radio station this week.

Speaking to the Lesotho Times in an exclusive interview this week, Mr Ralenkoane labelled Colonel Lekhooa and Mr Letsoepa criminals on the run who must return to Lesotho and be held accountable for their transgressions committed whilst they still occupied high offices.

For instance, Mr Ralenkoane accused former Compol (Letsoepa) of being the mastermind behind the murder of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng, whose corpse was hidden for a year, causing severe anguish to the latter’s family.

The Lesotho Times will publish the detailed interview with Mr Ralenkoane next week as we could not do so in this edition due to space constraints.
