SZAH Restaurant and Lounge owners are confident the newest kid on the culinary block in Maseru, will turn out to the proverbial breath of fresh air on the country’s cuisine and entertainment industry.
Tastefully situated in the upmarket Katlehong suburb opposite Maseru Mall, upon entering the high regal purple walls, the conniesuer immediately steps into a welcoming atmosphere beautifully decked out with comfortable chairs and tables.
The music plays softly with an elegance that allows for conversation and relaxation while the VIP sections and the bar make the irresistable invitation to savour the large selection of liquour and non-alcoholic beverages including SZAH’s special cocktails.
SZAH representatives, Amina Abdul and Jimmy Ipotseng this week told the Weekender that they were not here to add to the numbers but to offer a unique vibe and menu that was a cut above the rest.
“Our menu is exceptional as we offer the best international food including Italian and Greek dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Abdul said.
“The VIP, Dining and smoking areas are open to all because every client is important enough to enjoy the full range of our services as long as they are above the age of 21 and smartly dressed,” Ipotseng said, adding, “we are a chilled spot offering soulful House and classic music”.
“We play laid back soothing sounds from Monday to Thursday but on Friday and Saturday evenings we set the place off the hinges with selections from our resident DJ as well as other local and international DJs we host from time to time”.
Resident chef Roberto Chesi said the public should look forward to lots of seafood and pasta dishes because “a good restaurant sets a high standard for its quality food which will ensure guests keep returning”.
“I have a good experience in the kitchen and I know what titilates the patrons’ taste-buds so I will be serving different international dishes including focaccia, masala, lots of pasta and other dishes made from high-quality ingredients,” he added.
