MASERU — Veteran Mo-Afrika FM presenter Teboho “Stobolane” Thomas is no more.

The humorous presenter was pronounced dead at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital on Saturday night after suffering from an unconfirmed illness.

However, sources said Stobolane had complained of a headache for the past three weeks and was admitted at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital last Monday.

Stobolane’s mother-in-law, ‘Manyefolo Macholo, confirmed his death on Monday.

Macholo, however, refused to give any other details to the Lesotho Times.

She said her daughter and wife to the deceased, ‘Mabokang Thomas, had not given her permission to talk to the media.

‘Mabokang could not be reached for comment.

Mo-Afrika FM owner Ratabane Ramainoane refused to comment on Stobolane’s death.

“Only the family is entitled to talk to you about this,” he said.

Listeners will miss Stobolane’s light-hearted presentations during his Lekaka Lenyatheli’ and ‘Tumeliso ea Libaka’ programmes.

He joined Mo-Afrika FM at its establishment in 1999.

Stobolane was also the owner and coach of Let’s Get Physical Aerobics Club in Maseru.

Stobolane is survived by his wife and a son.
