SOUTH African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, has listed Maseru among the cities he will perform on his latest Africa tour that will start in his Mafikeng, South Africa hometown on 27 May 2016.
The rapper announced the #AGHastag Refiloe Album Tour this week on social media, which will see him perform 19 dates across seven African countries. Among the countries lined up for the tour are Lesotho, Mozambique, Nigeria, Namibia and Zimbabwe with the others to be revealed at a later stage.
However, apart from the shows in Mozambique and Namibia, the other tour dates, including Maseru, were yet to be confirmed.
Announcing the tour, Cassper revealed that the tour is inspired by a phone he recently released with AG Mobile and would centre on his latest album, Refiloe.
“We (are) making history again with my album tour and I’m starting at home on the 27th of May! Maftown! You need to come see this! It’s a show designed around the actual album and it’s inspired by the phone I just dropped with AG Mobile. This is not a party! It’s a concert! I just want to give you guys quality. You need to come see it!” he wrote on Instagram.
The Doc Shebeleza rapper has also promised to hold meet and greets with anyone who buys, or has bought, his phone and that they will be given free entrance to the shows. – Staff Writer
