COMPUTER Business Solutions (CBS) has continued its dominance of the information technology sector (IT) by winning four awards at the recently held PMR Africa Awards.
The IT firm was announced as the leader among the country’s IT training and software development companies. For this achievement the company was awarded a Diamond Arrow award.
The company was also recognised for its excellence in IT consulting and IT sales and service provision, for which it was awarded another Golden Arrow award.
Founded in 1998 and wholly owned by Basotho, CBS offers a complete range of IT business solutions, maintaining and cultivating the creative, entrepreneurial spirit.
The annual PMR Africa awards recognise excellence in institutions and individuals who are evaluated against set attributes by their clients in an annual survey.
CBS has previously won three Diamond Arrow awards in 2018, and was also among winners in 2016 and 2015.
CBS marketing supervisor, Molemo Pefole told the Lesotho Times that the awards keep them on their toes to outdo their past performances.
“Winning awards enhances the company’s profile in the market but our ultimate goal is to provide the highest quality of service to our clients,” Mr Pefole said.
He said while they strive to remain at the top of the value chain by maintaining high service delivery standards, there was room for improvement due to the dynamic nature of the IT industry.
“There is always room for improvement as the industry is continuously evolving. So, we cannot sit on our laurels believing we will always be market leaders.”
Mr Pefole added the company was doing well to penetrate into the international market through strategic partnerships with like-minded organisations abroad.
