Botswana College courts Basotho

MASERU — A private college, Botho College, this week conducted a two-day exhibition aimed at recruiting students to study in Botswana.

Keefelakae Moloi (pictured above), an assistant manager general administration at Botho College, said they were on a massive recruitment drive to attract Basotho students.

Moloi said at least 50 students had visited the exhibition hall at Alliance Francaise in Maseru by mid-day on Monday.

“This is a follow-up visit to the January exhibition that was coordinated by Botswana’s Ministry of Education to introduce Lesotho to Botswana’s tertiary sector.”

He said the college offered a variety of courses such as; Accounting, Business Studies and Computing.

“Our degree and Masters programmes are aligned with the United Kingdom-based Open University and Teesside University and they take four-and-a-half years for IT and two-and-a-half to three years for the Accounting programme,” he said.
