SOUTH African CashTime duo, Vigilante and Kid X, brought the house down on Saturday, during DJ Mekonko’s birthday bash.
The bash, which was held at the Khubetsoana-based club 4Fordy, was on a Hip Hop tip in response to public demand. Despite the palpable chill in the air, the duo belted Hip Hop mixes that had the crowd screaming and dancing throughout their performances.
Local artistes such as Skebz D, Juvy, Chocolate Soul, T Mech, OGM, Blayze Shutta Queen, Sentso and Afro DJ did not drop the ball but actually upped the ante during their performances.
With the ecstatic crowd edging ever closer to the stage, the event crew were compelled to erect a barrier to allow the performers artists to move freely movement. Dance crew, KTA Kings, added an exciting twist to the event with their scintillating Sbujwa moves that left all and sundry awestruck.
All the artists sang DJ Mekonko a birthday song during their performances with revelers reluctantly heading home just before sunrise.
