ORGANISERS of the “Rocktober Lifestyle Picnic” slated for Durham Link on 1 October 2016 have promised revelers a day to remember.
Event organiser Harris T this week told the Weekender the event was aimed at welcoming spring in style through various forms of entertainment for different age groups including table soccer, monopoly, arcade games, jumping castles and swimming.
“We will be rocking October hence the title of the show. We are also celebrating spring in a stylish way,” Harris T said.
“We have lined up different activities that will be enjoyed by extroverts in the cool breeze from Maqalika Lake with braai and refreshing drinks.”
He said their entertainment outfit, The Chronicles – House of Events, always strives to provide unique experiences for revelers, adding there would also be various musical performances.
“Music sets up the scene so there will be various performances from different local and international acts which I cannot reveal as the plan is to surprise people. Those who have been to our events know what I am talking about,” said Dallas T.
