MASERU — About seven heavily armed robbers in two vehicles, a polo and a BMW escaped with M80 000 from Shoprite U Save Thetsane branch last Thursday.
Police spokesperson Inspector Ramarikhoane quoted the branch manager as having said that the unknown men
came at 7.00pm soon after the shop had closed.
“Two of the suspects pleaded with the security officer to let them in as they came to buy a few things after the supermarket was closed. After they were allowed into the shop they threatened the customers and workers.
