RAPPER, Sibusiso “Sadon” Adontši, has revealed that his Valentine’s Day single, Easy To Love, which had the social media sphere and local radio stations abuzz, was inspired by his better half.

The song, which was appropriately released in the season of love, elicited numerous comments on Facebook and Twitter from appreciative fans, while also receiving generous airplay on radio stations.

According to Sadon, the lyrics of the track, which features producer, deejay and vocalist Chino El Vito, come straight from the heart.

“Easy To Love is a dedication to the apple of my eye and I saw it befitting to release it on Valentine’s Day,” Sadon said in an interview with the Weekender this week.

His stage name means “fresh beginnings”, and in keeping with that theme, the Mabote-born rapper has promised fans a different sound in his upcoming offering.

“With age, life experiences and much reading, my lyrical abilities have improved to become thought provoking and inspiring,” Sadon said.

“This will be evident in my upcoming album, No Fear, whose main focus is on inspiring the audience.

“The songs do not belong to me but the fans, I am just the medium since it comes from a very powerful source; God Almighty.”

Easy to Love is the second release, after Books of The Bible, from Sadon’s sophomore album No Fear. In Books of The Bible, he taps from his Christian upbringing, highlighting to his listeners that the Bible is not complicated but remains relevant to modern-day life.

“No Fear will drop later this year as we are currently working on the dates with my team. I have worked with a lot of artists from different stables, including producers from Lesotho, South Africa and Swaziland,” said Sadon.

His music encompasses various sub-genres of Hip Hop and languages with Sesotho, Swazi and English lyrics.

“The production on the album is superb and I believe people will be able to easily spot the growth of Sadon in this compilation.

“The goal is to tap into South African and Swazi markets and I already have special tools in place which will help me achieve this goal.”
