THE Lesotho Times Fanfest promotional team will this weekend date Twisters in Ha Matala and Jalopy in Mafeteng where patrons who buy tickets stand a chance to win instant prizes.

DJs Bootz, Kopper and Dimo as well as the dance duo, Super Twins, will light up Twisters this Friday from 3pm while Jalopy will follow on Saturday from 3pm.

The party sessions are meant to promote the Lesotho Times Fanfest which is scheduled for Setsoto Stadium on 3 November 2018.

The festival which is organised by Plan A is sponsored by Maluti Mountain Brewery, Sefalana Liquor Lesotho, AVANI Hotels, Afro Media and PC FM. The event is meant to celebrate Lesotho Times’ over a decade of service.

The festival will see a star-studded line-up featuring legends Oliver Mtukudzi and Tshepo Tshola. Also scheduled to perform are AKA, Kwesta, Nasty C, Trompies, Thebe, Prince Kaybee, Sho Madjozi, Lerato Kganyago, Amanda Black, Thami, Lady Zamar and several others.

The local contingent will also consist of the likes of Juvy, Together, Smooth, Katz, Mtsuzi, Counter Force, Charma Exzit, Fatere and the Sway among others.

The parties’ performers have already graced The Deck Car Wash, Ba.One and Cuban Linx all in Maseru and Monate Café in Khubetsoana where they left patrons asking for more.

Prizes which included picnic bags, body warmers and promotional products have already been won by patrons who bought the tickets at the parties through M-Pesa.

According to Refiloe Mohlotsane of Plan A, plans for the main event are well on course and party lovers should buy their tickets early to avoid disappointment.

“The festival boasts of quite a heavy line-up of which some people were doubtful that they will all come,” Mohlotsane said.

“However, since we launched the activation parties where we are able to assure revellers that the festival is really taking place and also responding to all their questions, we have seen quite an excitement from people who wish to see themselves at the stadium. We also posted videos of artistes on the Lesotho Times Fanfest Facebook page, confirming their performances at the stadium on 3 November. Therefore, I am confident that we will fill Setsoto Stadium.

“We only have M220 (General) and M400 (VIP) tickets left which are being sold at Computicket, Vodacom M-Pesa and Ecocash until the day of the event. However, I do not encourage people to wait for the last moments because they may run out.”

The next stop for activation parties is Kaycee’s in Roma on 17 October, followed by O-Zone in Hlotse on 27 October, Provocateur in Teyateyaneng on 20 October and finally at Kasi Kota in Ha Pita on 28 October.
