SOUTH African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, is set to once again rock Maseru tomorrow at club 4Fordy at DLM Complex.

The North West Province-born Cassper Nyovest is famous for his ponytail, dance moves and hard-hitting Motswako lyrics.

The artist born Refiloe Maele Phoolo first burst on to the scene as a featured guest on Hip Hop Pantsula’s (HHP) Wam’tsiba Mthoo.

4Fordy’s Moeketsi Manoeli said Cassper Nyovest has been in Lesotho a couple of times and realised the depth of his fanbase, “so he asked me to organize an event for him this side”.

“The Mafikeng-based rapper recently released his latest studio album, Tsholofelo, and is currently on a promotional tour and saw it befitting to serenade his Lesotho fans,” said Manoeli.

“I have known Cassper Nyovest for about two years while I was still in Johannesburg but only started working with him during the shows I had there and we have since then become friends.”

Also performing at the show is the resident deejays at one of South Africa’s popular joints, Taboo, supported by the local contigent of Juvy oa Lepipara, Kommanda Obbs, Jiji F, Dallas T and Grown Folk DJs.

Rapper Jiji F, this week, said he looking forward to tomorrow’s gig.

“I have shared the stage with Cassper three times before and it has always been a great experience as he is one of the people I look up to and I am excited to have this privilege once again of performing alongside him,” Jiji F.
